Women in science and engineering

After the success of the first Deans' Forum, in 2015 "Creating talents for a new world", MINES ParisTech organizes a second forum "Women in science and engineering", on August 31st and September 1st.

We intend to gather world-renowned researchers and academics in order to discuss this challenging subject for the future of our institutions.
 
During these two days we will offer speeches, roundtables, debates and testimonials by women.
Discussions will focus on the following items:
- History of women in science and within the academic world
- Organization of worlwide universities and innovation policies to promote women's access to scientific careers
- Testimonials of women in scientific careers
- Future prospects
